I had the opportunity to make this video animation showing animal husbandry in the mountains of the Basque Country. There are some ecological and economical issues that are challeging this ancient practice. The aim of the video essay is to informe and sensibilizate citizens about the value of the products and culture based on mountain animal husbandry.
Serie of 26 cartoon animation videos of 1 minute duration for Basque public television and Youtube, with educational purpouses. Client: Water Department of the Basque Government. All videos were in Basque language and in Spanish.
This cartoon video is about ballast waters from ships around the world damaging local marine life. It is part of “The ResponSEAbles” campaign from EU.

I made these videos “with the hand drawing” so they can catch attention from public. This is an explanation video for a small foundation that takes care of people with mental illnesses. Illustrations are made before, and then we apply an animation software for the “drawing-hand” fx, the voices and music.
These animation backgrounds were drawn for “Sinfokids”, a tv programme for the Basque Tv. Over the backgrounds they put some actors and animations. Educational purposes.
