I had the opportunity to make this video animation showing animal husbandry in the mountains of the Basque Country. There are some ecological and economical issues that are challeging this ancient practice. The aim of the video essay is to informe and sensibilizate citizens about the value of the products and culture based on mountain animal husbandry.
Scenography illustrated for clown group Potx eta Lotx. Three different modules standing and a big carpet for the floor. All full of bright colors and funny details to delight children!
These illustrations were produced for an English and Basque language academy called BAI & BY. They were displayed on a big screen during a public event that took place in Bilbao.
I created more than a hundred comic strips for a local newspaper. The idea was to mix Basque mythology with pop culture monsters like zombies, vampires… and invented some “cinematographic” stories.
